Changing Quiz Attempts in Learning Management System

Follow these steps to modify the number of allowed attempts for a quiz:

  1. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  2. Select "Turn editing on" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Scroll down to locate the quiz you want to modify.
  4. Click on the gear icon next to the quiz.
  5. Choose "Edit settings" from the options.
  6. Scroll down to the "Grade" section.
  7. Click on the "Grade" dropdown to expand it.
  8. Find the "Attempts allowed" option and select the desired number from the dropdown menu.
  9. Click "Save and display" at the bottom of the page.
  10. Return to the top of the page and click the gear icon again.
  11. Select "Turn editing off" to exit the editing mode.

While editing the quiz settings, you may also adjust other parameters such as:

  • Quiz name and description
  • Timing constraints
  • Layout options
  • Appearance customization
  • Restrictions on attempts
  • Overall feedback
  • Access restrictions
  • Activity completion criteria
  • Tags and competencies


Note: Remember to save your changes before exiting the settings page.
